Discipline created more than 5000 years ago by Chinese monks as a group of exercises to maintain healthy, vitality and longevity. In fact, they discovered that with specific movements and respiration schemes it could be canalized the QI, the energy, to lead the body to health and balance, actively developing at the same time the consciousness of own existence in the world. Recently studies have assessed the stimulating action of the exercises on the lymphatic glands and on the immune system. The graceful movements accompanied by the respiration reduce the stress, regulate blood pressure, improve balance, flexibility and the hearth strength, enriching the quality of life. Everybody of whichever age can perform Tai Chi.
