Watsu
In 1980 Harold Dull began to practice in hot water stretches and pressures from Zen Shiatsu, learned in Japan from Master Masunaga. From that time, many other therapists in the world have experimented with the possibilities of this bodywork, named WATSU from putting together 'Water' and 'Shiatsu'.
According to traditional Chinese medicine, the state of health of an organism is connected to the continual flow of Ki, which is vital energy, along the system of meridian flows along which you can find the acupuncture points.
The action of the water can reestablish circulation, remove blockages, and rebalance your circulation.
The water and its vortices transform into 1000 fingers that wisely touch us while your breathing reaches every cell of your body, making it lively.
In WATSU we can recognize our tensions, surrender ourselves to the warmness of the water, leaving us free flowing trusting the support of our partners, rocking and following the wavy movements of yours and your partners' breathing.
Every tension and pain disappears from your joints while your muscles are relaxing, resting, and begin to be in a state of harmony.
